A Strap with a Purpose
The Kiboko’s patented dual compartment with it’s unique butterfly style flaps are amazing for keeping the elements out of your gear, but when it comes time to load or unload your gear the newly added flap keeper strap system is a must have. This simple strap allows you to keep both sides open for easy access to both sides of your bag, and tucks nicely out of the way when you are done.
A Blue Warning Sign
Every photographer knows that chasing light often means moving quickly. Sometimes that rushing leads to forgetting to close your bag all the way. Admit it, we have all done it. Version 2.0 of the Kiboko now includes sewn in blue bindings around both side flaps. This isn’t just for looks. If you see blue you immediately know your bag is open. Small detail – Big impact.
Hardware that Works
A well constructed bag is nothing without hardware that is both dependable and easy-to-use. All Kiboko bags are outfitted with industry leading YKK® zippers. Each main zipper slider has a pull that is glove friendly and easy to see with the bright blue so you can see them even in low light.
The black Kiboko 2.0 22L Backpack from Gura Gear is designed to keep your mobile photo studio organized as you comfortably and securely carry it to your next destination. Its dual side-by-side camera compartments can each be dedicated to separate camera kits and their accessories using the backpack’s adjustable partitions. While either camera compartment can be dedicated toward two DSLRs (or two mirrorless cameras with grips attached), five to six lenses and a shoe mount flash, the other can then be used to hold two DSLRs with attached lenses, including a wide-angle lens and a 300mm f/2.8 lens.
A pair of side-by-side, front-facing zippered panels which fold open toward the center of the backpack provide individual access to the camera compartments. Together, a zippered mesh organizer pocket along the inside of each panel creates space for hard drives, portable batteries, camera filters, or small electronics within the camera compartments. Each panel also features an outer flap that can be unzipped and opened toward the center of the backpack, even when the panels remain closed, revealing two additional organizer pockets for items that need be accessed quickly and conveniently without exposing the contents of the camera compartments.
The Kiboko 2.0 22L Backpack can be carried using its built-in top handle, or by its adjustable, padded shoulder straps as the resilient and breathable 3D mesh padding along the outside rear surface cushions the wearer’s back and shoulders. The padding’s elevated structure optimizes air circulation, minimizing perspiration in warm and hot environments. For heavy loads, this backpack’s adjustable sternum strap and waist belt can be used to more evenly distribute the weight being carried. When the Kiboko 2.0 22L Backpack is worn, a dedicated compartment for a 15″ laptop computer rests directly behind the shoulders, while along both sides of the backpack are two large, stretchable pockets with side-compression straps that can each hold and secure a water bottle. Alternatively, the pockets can be used to hold a tripod, monopod, or trekking pole; each can be further secured using the side-compression strap located above the pocket.
Constructed with VX-21, nylon and polyester material that is both durable and lightweight, the Kiboko 2.0 22L Backpack is built to be weather resistant and includes a seamless cover for use under heavy rain.
